Askar has 6 years wealth of knowledge and experience in the financial markets. In 2014-2015, he analyzed the macroeconomics and banking sector of Kazakhstan. Since 2016, he worked as a portfolio manager at Halyk Finance, where he subsequently led the management of assets. The National Bank has developed artificial intelligence models to predict the quality of the assets of the banking system.
In 2014, Askar graduated Durham University in the UK with a degree in Business Finance. In 2018, he became the youngest CFA owner in Kazakhstan (at that time). In 2019, he graduated the KBTU with a degree in Data Science.
Aldiyar has extensive experience in finance and asset management. In his previous role he was a member of the Investment Committee and department director at National Investment Corporation of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, where he was responsible for managing a portfolio of hedge funds as part of international reserves of the Republic of Kazakhstan. His previous experience also includes work on strategic asset allocation, risk management and macroeconomic research.
Aldiyar is a CFA charterholder with a BA in Management and Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin.
